Hinduism existed in Ancient Egypt as well.
The Hindu mythology has always been mysterious. There are various philosophies and theories around it.
Like in Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna shows his ultimate form to Arjuna and gives teachings. There are philosophies that say the five Pandavas are our five senses and Lord Krishna is the charioteer to our souls. This theory always intrigued me.
A few more theories that are exquisite on their own include the Dashavatara of Lord Vishnu, the creator Brahma and the destroyer in the form of Lord Shiva. Even Mahabharata, Ramayana, the Vedas and Puranas are some unique theories on their own, it is astonishing. Moreover, as mentioned in the article, they all have connections with the entire world and not just India.

A picture that shows Hinduism in Ancient Egypt.
Many pictures were found indicating that Egyptian rulers followed Shaivism and Vaishnavism. The picture on the right shows Nandi from Hindu mythology, very similar to Apis or Hapis, a bull-deity who is said to serve as an intermediary between humans and an all-powerful God. The picture on the right is said to be of a designer and builder of the pyramid, who had Hindu (Vaishnav) marks and a scroll with him.
The tale of Lord Vishnu’s ‘Matsyavatara’ and the world.
As narrated in Srimad Bhagavatam and Matsya Purana, King Satyavrata was ordered to save the whole world, all species of humans, animals and plants from a mighty flood.
Similar references, with some variations, can be found in other mythological and religious books, such as Noah’s Ark in the Bible and Safina Nuh in the Quran.
When ‘Varaha Avatar’ of Lord Vishnu saves the Earth.
The Hindu Lord Vishnu is said to have taken a lot of Avatars (incarnations) in Hindu Mythology. A popular form is that of a Varaha (boar) who rescued Goddess earth. When the Asura(demon) Hiranyaksha tormented the Earth and its inhabitants, forcing them to flee to the cosmic ocean, Vishnu as Varaha descends into the depths of the ocean to rescue her.
The similarity between Hindu Goddess and Vedic Gods in Pre Jewish Canaanite Religion.
In Pre Jewish Canaanite religion (followed by Ancient Semitic religions) living in the ancient Levant (modern Israel, Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria), glimpses of Hindu Gods can be seen. As you can see in the picture, on the left is the Hindu Goddess Kali who is said to be the destroyer of evil forces. On the right, a picture depicting the child sacrifices done by Canaanites in that era can be seen.
But the Goddess is very similar to Kali. Four hands, weapons, head under the feet, all common. The resemblance is uncanny!
Vamana Avatar of Lord Vishnu and various continents.
The fifth Avatar of Lord Vishnu is Vamana (dwarf) avatar. Mahabali (aka Bali), a noble Asura King who gained mighty power over the universe, offers to give anything to the Brahmin, Vamana. Vamana demands nothing but teen pada bhoomi (three paces of land). Once the wish is granted, the dwarf Brahmin grows into a giant of cosmic proportions. He then takes over the Earth and the heavens in two paces. The demon king offers his head for the third pace and is being sent to the Patala.
However, a popular theory states that is in fact, three-quarters of land. Since the king was then ruling over Asia, Europe and Africa, he decided to gift them all to the Brahmin and decided to leave.
Aztecs from Mexico and Hinduism.
Aztecs were ethnic groups from Central Mexico and dominated maximum parts of Mesoamerica from the 14th to 16th century. Surprisingly, Mahabharata mentions them thereby calling them Sarpas.
As said in the previous section, Bali travelled to South America after giving his land to Vamana. The colonies thereby developed were called Talatalak which brings us to Toltec, a culture which exists even today in Mexico and South America.
When Ram Setu from Ramayana got real.
The famous Ram Setu from Ramayana was recently claimed to be real and man-made by an American TV show, Science Channel. The same is also known as Adam’s Bridge and connects India and Sri Lanka as said in Hindu Mythology.
